Could not believe negative review on this iron.... I am a quilter and sewer and use this iron daily. I HIGHLY recommend this iron. I absolutely LOVE not having to place it on its end each time I have to adjust my fabric. Really takes stress off of my wrists and for my purposes, the feet on this iron make it a much more SAFE and STEADIER iron. Not sure how this iron would fall off an ironing board (as the other reviewer states).... any other iron is more likely to fall over / off and has higher potential for burning incidents due to having to be placed on its end. The on / off function has NEVER failed and while quilting, I leave it on for hours at a time. The water reservoir is easy to refill and the VISIBILITY is a plus! (I recommend against using tap water due to mineral build up - use bottled water only). I am on my second one after 4 years ONLY due to my having purchased the non-stick version and it wearing off due to high usage. Have to add that my husband - who... Read more

Feet are a nusance!, January 20, 2007 By A.N. (WI) - See all my reviews This review is from: Oliso Touch & Glide Iron- (Office Product) I do not like this iron. I am a quilter and use irons regularly, so I thought i would give this iron a try. I am very dissapointed. When setting the iron to the side, you have to make sure it's dead-center on the ironing board, otherwise, it will flip right off the board. The back foot was resting half-way on the board causing it to become unstable. But that is not the worst of it. The water tank capacity is good for about half a shirt (but perhaps that's because it leaked the entire time)! Even with the iron set to the hottest setting and the steam lever turned to off, it still dripped! Once I even came back to my ironing board and the entire reservoir had emptied onto my ironing board and floor!
Disappointed with Oliso Iron, December 1, 2010 This review is from: Oliso Touch & Glide Iron- (Office Product) I am an avid sewer & crafter; purchased the most expensive of this line; the iron blew up after 20 days, sent back for replacement which I think all they did was replace the cord & sent back to me; does not steam well or will not get hot. Really disappointed in its performance.
